Mustang Losing woes Continue.

Auburn, ME – The Mustangs losing woes continued Friday as Bryan Stratton College visited Kirk Hall and took down the home team 71-65.

Hitting key shots has been the issue all season for the Mustangs and today was no different. CM went to the locker room down 29-28 at the half. Coach Gonyea responded, "we were a bit stagnant the first half, really didn't attack the boards, and were a bit flat shooting. However, I thought we played tough and held the Bobcats to 29 points which I was pleased."

Both Amari Scott and Devon Smith-Johnson played long minutes for the visitors but each registered 19 points. Again, Gonyea added, "we just got through a pretty aggressive two-week camp where I thought the boys were ready, both mentally and physically. We just came out the second half and ran out of gas, energy, and focus. We will regroup, move forward, and straighten out the ship!!"

Jerimiah Simeon scored a double double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Boston Caldwell hit for 14 points and had 5 rebounds for CM.

The Mustangs take on Berkeley College Sunday at 12pm.
