2024-25: Played in 10 games during the first semester. Scored a season-high 18 points vs UMaine-Fort Kent on November 10th.

2023-24: As a freshman, played in 27 games with 25 starts. Averaged 9.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.5 steals. Had a career-high 23 points at Paul Smith’s College on January 14th… Helped the Mustangs win their seventh straight YSCC Tournament with a 59-52 win over UMaine-Augusta. Reached the USCAA DII National Tournament Semifinals.

Prior to CMCC: Graduated from Doral Academy in Florida. Played basketball one year for the Lady Firebirds, one year for Miami Coral Park Senior High School and as a freshman for Miami Senior High School… Won the 2020 7A state championship with the Stingarees her first year... Averaged 25 points, 3 assists, 5.9 steals, and 2.9 blocks per game for Miami Coral Park as a junior and voted team’s “Player of the Year”… Team captain at Doral Academy as a senior. Team MVP averaging 9.5 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. Named 2nd-Team All-Dade County by the Miami Herald. Won district championship in ’23.

Personal: Parents are Luis Prieto and Darlene Mendoza. Has three brothers, Luis, Lazaro, and Damian.

What made you choose to attend CMCC?
“I chose CMCC because of Coach Morong’s dedication to the program and the players above all. His main focus when recruiting me and up until now was me, not basketball or anything else. Just making sure I would be comfortable coming up to Maine, can afford it, and had all the resources I needed to succeed here. It was a no-brainer when making my decision to commit. It’s a great school with a highly successful basketball program that has dedicated and loving staff. Honestly though, the single room sold me.”
