After the game, Head Softball Coach, Bruce Robertson, stated, "We just have to play better. We are a far better team than what we are displaying in games. I sound like a broken record but we must limit errors to win ball games. We had multiple official and mental errors again today that allowed SM to bust both games open. Our pitching today was not as good as last week but we have to give our pitchers run support and not make errors behind them to be successful. We will go back to the drawing board with practices the rest of the week and come up with ways to make ourselves better for our game at UMPI on Sunday."
