This was a good learning week for the Mustangs, stated Head Coach Bruce Robertson. "We traveled all over the state of Pennsylvania, playing some of the top teams in the USCAA. We traveled every day, had little sleep, and were tired, beat up, and sore, but we never gave up. 10 games in 5 days. I'm proud of how we played. It's the little things that kept getting us. Errors. If we solve the problem, we will be in a good spot. Once we start the regular season, we will be in a better place with limited travel and not so many games in a row. The road trip, I feel, will help us with stamina through the season. It was also good to get our two All-Americans back. Olivia Galln took back the lead-off position, collecting multiple hits and burning up the base paths. Olivia Scott climbed back into the circle and brought her big bat back to the line-up. Adding both Gallan and Scott to our lineup with a group of talented first-year players, we should be in a really good spot for the regular season."

The Mustangs open their regular season by hosting the University of Maine Presque Isle on Saturday, March 23, in a doubleheader action game at 2/4 pm.
