Head Softball Coach, Bruce Robertson, stated, "We played much better today in game one. We played with high energy and played the speed game and it worked for us. Game 2 we mixed it up a bit and it hurt us at the plate. We need to find a way to keep the intensity up for back-to-back games. Lauryn pitched one of her best games this fall which was great to see. Alexis Michaud gave us 2 solid innings in the circle and Brooke Gero, playing in her first game of the fall coming off a hamstring injury, pitched a solid inning to close the games out. Game 2 Sage Reed pitched well but we gave her no run support. We had no errors game 1, we got the win; game 2 we made 2 errors and we lost. There is a relation there. If we solve these issues we will be in a good spot."
