Men's Soccer Releases Schedule

Auburn, ME - CM Men's Soccer squad will play an 11-game schedule this fall, featuring a different conference alignment for scheduling and a couple of new, welcomed opponents.  Seven conference games highlight the schedule, including matchups with UMaine-Machias, SMCC, Hampshire, Vermont Tech, Unity, Paul Smith's College, and NHTI.  CM will play SMCC and UMaine-Machias twice, with their 2nd match between each club as a non-conference, but still countable, game.

In the non-conference schedule, CM will take on the University of New Brunswick - Saint John and the University of Maine - Presque Isle.  In addition to their 11-game schedule, the Mustangs will travel to Bridgton Academy for an exhibition game vs. the Wolverines.

According to Head Men's Soccer Coach, Bryan Wallace, "Our team faces a challenging schedule this season. It's exciting to see a lot of new opponents on the calendar and even a some conference teams we haven't played for a couple seasons. We play in a very competitive conference with several four-year schools that have built quality teams and always play at a high-level. It's a challenge to compete against soccer programs who have built an established core group of players. But it's a challenge that I always look forward to, and a challenge this year's team is going to accept head on."

The season-opener will take place on Saturday, September 2nd at UMaine-Machias with the 1st home contest on Sunday, the 3rd vs. New Brunswick - Saint John.
