Auburn, ME - Despite a sluggish shooting night, the Lady Mustangs jumped out to a big lead and never looked back, beating Champlain - St. Lawrence 68-24 in the Can-Am finale Sunday afternoon.

The relentless tandem of Jordyn Reynolds and Brooke Reynolds was too much for the Lions, each posting a double-double. Brooke finished with 14 points, 13 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists, while Jordyn tallied 10 points, 16 rebounds, 5 steals, and 2 blocks.

Jeanne Bellerose led the Lions with 8 points.

CM forced 30 turnovers and out-rebounded Champlain - St. Lawrence by +32.

With the win the Mustangs improve to 2-0 overall, and after a week of practice will be back in action next weekend with a Saturday-Sunday double-header. On Saturday they travel to Lyndon, VT to take on Northern Vermont University in a NCAA DIII exhibition game. On Sunday, they host Vermont Tech in their first YSCC matchup of the season.
