The Central Maine Community College Athletic Department is pleased to announce the hiring of David Clarke as the new JV Women's Basketball Head Coach.  Clarke, will also serve as an assistant coach, on Head Women's Basketball Coach, Andrew Morong's staff.  He comes to CM after serving an assistant women's basketball coach at St. Joseph's College (Standish, ME) and the Lisbon High School's JV Boy's Basketball Coach.

Clarke on joining CM, "I am thrilled to be a part of the coaching staff at CM.  I have enjoyed coaching with Coach Morong in the past, he is a great coach and we work well together.  I am excited to make my own impact on the already successful program that has been built, ​and to be the Head Coach of Maine's only JV women's basketball team."

According to Morong, "We couldn't be happier with Coach Clarke's addition to the CM family.  Having worked with him in the past, I know this is going to be a perfect fit.  His experience in recruiting, and his knowledge and expertise of our fast-paced system is going to help push our program to the next level.  His biggest presence will be made while he works with our point guards and other perimeter players.  His ability to develop skills and instill confidence in the student-athletes he works with is nearly unmatched."
