CM overpowered the Lady Clippers of UMaine-Machias on their way to a 99-46 Yankee Conference win on Sunday.  The Lady Mustangs used balanced scoring and stifling defense to jump out to an early lead, a lead that would never be challenged.

Cruising to a 43-20 lead at the half, CM used a 20-0 run to start the second half to break the game wide open.  Gabby Foy (Wilton, ME) led the charge with 19 points on 57% shooting including three long balls.  Malia Hamel (Edmonton, AB) connected from downtown four times, on her way to 15 points, and Corrie Kinder (North Haverhill, NH) tallied 14 points on 6-8 shooting.

Overall, the Lady Mustangs shot 50% from the floor for the game and hit 9 of 24 three's (38%).  CM also dished out 20 assists, while only turning the ball over 6 times.  All 13 Lady Mustangs found the scoring column.

Shannon Garland led the Clippers with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

With the win, CM improves to 14-4 overall and 9-1 in the Yankee Conference.  The Lady Mustangs will be back in action on Tuesday and Wednesday when they host EMCC then travel to Unity.
