After a poor shooting first half and trailing by one at intermission, the Lady Mustangs ramped up the intensity in route to a 65-48 win over Daniel Webster. Using their pressure defense and a new found sense of urgency, CM held the host to just 14 points over the first 18 minutes of the second half.
The Lady Mustangs had girls play at least 10 minutes, and were led by 3 in double figure scoring. Gabby Foy (Wilton, ME) hit from downtown 3 times to finish with team high 15 points. Laura Soohey (Bremen, ME) posted a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Kat Styles (Franklin, NH) scored 13 points in just 12 minutes.
Corrie Kinder (North Haverhill, NH) tallied 5 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals.
CM is back in action tomorrow afternoon when they host Quinsigamond CC at 1:00pm.
