After a tough loss at the hands of one rival on the road, CM had to head to Concord, NH to take on their other rival, NHTI, this time to end regular season play.  Going up against the scrappy Lynx of NHTI is never easy, and although the Lady Mustangs jumped out to an early lead, they found themselves tied at halftime, 31-31.

Over the first 10-minutes of the second half, CM held NHTI to just 6 points, finally taking over the tempo of the game, and wearing out the Lynx.  Ella Montminy (Center Barnstead, NH) helped lead a quartet in double-figure scoring.  Montminy dropped 15 points on 5-8 shooting and was 3-5 from deep, helping the CM bench outscore the NHTI bench by a 46-10 margin.

Gabby Foy (Wilton, ME) was the game's high scorer, with 17 points.  Corrie Kinder (North Haverhill, NH) played a tremendous game defensively and also contributed 11 points and 7 rebounds.  Kat Styles (Franklin, NH) tallied 10 points.

Overall, CM shot 45.5% from the floor while dishing out 18 assists and sniping 17 steals.  The Lady Mustangs were also +16 on the boards, including 18 offensive rebounds.

Allura LeBlanc led NHTI with 15 points and 6 rebounds.

With the win, CM clinches the #2 seed in the Yankee Conference Tournament and improves their record to 18-5 overall and 12-2 in the YSCC.  They will take on Eastern Maine Community College in the Yankee Conference Quarterfinals.  They game will take place Thursday, February 19th at 9:00pm at NHTI, this year's YSCC Tournament host.
