Mustangs Too Much For Unity

The CMCC 2013 Men's Soccer Team continues to play well. Tuesday's cloudy game saw the men defeat Unity College in a hard fought win. Co-captain Dylan Mawhinney opened up the scoring twelve minutes into the match after collecting a pass across the box from Brady Fenderson. The twenty-fifth minute saw Brandon Morissette give a pass Jamiel Kidd who took five touches in the air to beat two Unity midfielders before volleying a goal from twenty-five yards out. The score held 2-0 at half. Unity fought back and twenty minutes into the second half Jacob Scoville scored from distance past Zachary Jackson. Mawhinney gave the Mustangs some breathing room when he scored from Abshir Osman just seven minutes later.  Zach Jackson had an impressive fourteen saves in goal for CMCC. Charles Epinette and Nicholas Record played well for the Mustangs are now 2-0 for the season.
