The Seawolves of Southern Maine Community College handed the Mustangs their second loss of the season in a late, cold and physical match in Auburn.
SMCC 's Xavier Trask got the lone goal after a throw in from Nicholas Oram. SMCC goalkeeper Dan Couverette had nine saves while Zachary Jackson of CM had eleven. Chase Cote and Jeff Wierzbicki played well in the midfield for CMCC.
CMCC is back in action on Saturday when the host the Clippers of UMaine-Machias.
