Sunday afternoon saw CMCC take on the Golden Eagles of Eastern Maine Community College for the second time this season.  Captain Alex Lyons put the Mustangs on top just ten minutes into the game after receiving a pass from Brandon Morissette.

The first half saw plenty of opportunities but the Mustangs couldn't capitalize.  Then, with 4:31 remaining in the opening half Morisette scored of a great assist from Jamiel Kidd brining the halftime score to 2-0.

Chase Cote opened up the 2nd half with the next goal with a good individual effort. Lyons supplied Kidd with an assist which was quickly followed by Dalton Burns aiding a Dylan Mawhinneys goal. Burns then provided freshman Nick Record with his first goal of the season.  With 8:47 remaining EMCC's Matt Thompson found some space and was able to help the Golden Eagles avoid the shutout.

EMCC goalkeeper Brandon Taylor had 9 saves while Zachary Jackson had 5 saves in goal for CMCC.
