Softball adds to 2020 arsenal

Auburn, ME - Head Softball Coach, Bruce Robertson, is pleased to announce another commitment for 2020. Jaimee Feugill, from Waterville High School has committed to play for the Mustangs in the fall.

Jaimee stated, "I chose CM because of the campus. It is a more hands-on campus that is very helpful. It has that welcome feeling when you enter the campus. The staff and students were all wonderful which made me feel welcome. CM has that big school feel but everyone knows each other which I really like."

Coach, Kim Feugill, commented, "Jaimee is a very dedicated player. She played varsity as an 8th grader (Temple Academy) and was a starter for her four years before moving to Waterville her senior year. She often mentored and coached alongside me and my assistant working with girls who needed more one on one. She played catcher, third and shortstop and excelled in them all. She even pitched, even when she probably didn't want too but the team needed her. Her athleticism and her mental knowledge of the game and positions will make her an asset to the Mustangs. She batted around .600, striking out only 2 times in 4 years at Temple. She is highly competitive, and her biggest critic is herself."

According to Coach Robertson, "We are thrilled to have Jaimee coming to CM. With Jaimee being a well-rounded all-around player, I feel she will fit right in with the returning players and will be a great addition to our growing list of first-year players for 2020."

On her commitment to Central Maine, Jaimee mentioned, "I am really looking forward to the competitiveness college softball will bring. I am also excited about advancing my skills of the game that will push me to become a better player. I feel what I bring to CM is my dedication to the game along with knowledge of playing multiple positions. I am excited about the travel and playing at higher level while enjoying the new experience college will bring!"

Jaimee was a Captain at Temple Academy her Sophomore and Junior year where she batted .600 for the season and was nominated to play in the East/West All-Star game. Jaimee was also a member of her Summer team Maine Revere team that won 2018 ASA/USA16U Maine State Tournament.

Jaimee is an Honor Roll Student that will be enrolled in the Physical Fitness Specialist program at CM. She is also CPR & First Aid certified and soon will be a Registered Maine Guide who is Wilderness CPR and First Aid trained as well.
