Mustangs run away from Seawolves

Auburn, ME - Rob Skinner (Winsted, CT) registered 19 points and 12 steals and Raikwon Rodrigues (Providence, RI) added 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead CM to a convincing 74 50 opening game win over the University of New Brunswick St John in the first game of the 22nd annual Can-Am Tournament.

CM took a 43-29 lead into halftime after forcing 21 Seawolfes turnovers with intense full court defense. 

After a sluggish second half beginning, the Mustangs went on a 22-6 run at the 12 minute mark to increase its lead to 20 points. 

Carrington Miller (Bingham, ME) hit for 14 points and hauled down 8 rebounds.  Elijah Barbour (Reston, VA) contributed 14 points.  Paul Gerges led the Seawolves with 12 points.  The Mustangs face St Thomas University Sunday at 3pm.
