Auburn, ME - The Mustangs moved to 3-0 in conference play with a resounding 9-0 win over the UMaine Augusta.
Ivan Domingues continued his fine goal scoring form with a hat-trick that brings him to 17 goals for the season. Domingues currently leads the YSCC in goals scored and points (41). Justin Violette also found the net twice to bring his tally to the season to 7, all goals being scored with Violette entering the game as a substitute.
Ordi Bimvy who is involved in most good thing the Mustangs do this season, tallied a goal and an assist. With Jermiah Gomez, David Nzuzzi and Sam Boynton all scoring goals. Boynton's goal being his first this season. Emannuel Kalala and Isidoro Domingues added assists. Igor Domingues was provider today as his 2 assists pushed him to 2nd in the conference in points behind brother Ivan.
Davin Cloutier had 3 saves on 3 shots for the Mustangs.
With the win the Mustangs move to 6-1-1 for the season. The Moose fall to 1-4-1 overall and 1-3-1 in conference. Next up for the Mustangs is a conference game at Paul Smith's college on Saturday, Oct 7th.
