Edward Little defender joins Women's Soccer

Kylie Bureau, having just graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn, has committed to play soccer at Central Maine this fall.  Kylie will be majoring in Physical Fitness Specialist with plans to continue on to get a degree in either physical therapy or occupational therapy.

According to Central Maine Head Coach, Rob Rodriguez, "Kylie is an aggressive, hard-playing defender, and it didn't take long to realize that she has a skill set that will fit in well with the team we are building.  She has been an important part of a strong Red Eddies program for most of her high school career."

Edward Little Coach, Craig Latuscha, says of Kylie, "She was a three-year starter and a member of the 2014 Eastern Maine Championship team.  As an outside back, she is tough on the ball, good in the air, has a long throw, and is a team player with a solid work ethic".

When asked why she chose Central Maine and what she liked the most about the campus Bureau said, "Its small campus was a good place to start my college education, and it's close to home.  I feel that playing collegiate soccer will be more of a challenge and commitment than her previous experiences.  I am looking forward continuing my soccer career, because soccer has always been my favorite sport.  I'm looking forward to meeting people I've never played with and having new experiences and I think that I can bring some hard work and good physical, aggressive play to the team."
