Paul Smith, NY - The CM Men's Soccer Team began their weekend roadtrip with a win against conference opponent Paul Smiths College. Suab Nur got the Mustangs out front with a goal after receiving a pass from Mohamud Hassan. That score held and the Mustangs led at the half 1-0. Twenty-five minutes into the second half Abdilahi Abdi received a pass from Mohamed Matan and was able to break through the Bobcat defense to finish a well-earned goal. Mohamed Hassan provided another assist to Suab Nur to finish Paul Smiths off and give the Mustangs a little insurance. The game finished 3-0. After the game Coach Abdjabar Hersi said, "This was a good physical game. Our players stood strong,and our defense stepped up to produce a shutout. This was a statement game for our guys, we needed to prove we're a contender."
