Auburn, ME - CM hosted both the SMCC Men's and Women's Soccer team Wednesday evening for CM Spirit Day. Following up on an impressive win from the Women's team, it was Mohamedamin Nur who played a wonderful through ball on the ground to Suab Nur who calmly placed his shot past the Seawolves goalkeeper. That's the way it stayed through the first half, 1-0 Mustangs.

The second half saw a lot of possession from CM, but it was a free kick that bounced behind the CM defense that allowed SM's Laszlo Dorogi to collect, turn, shoot and score from just a couple yards out. After 90-minutes the match remained tied 1-1 and two ten-minute overtime periods would not see either team produce a goal.

Mustang goalkeeper Abdullahi Abdulahi collected seven saves, while Joshua Nagle had nine in goal for the Seawolves. CM will host Hampshire College in their last conference game on Sunday, October 10 at 4pm.
