The last goal of the day came when Mohamed Matan broke away on goal and was fouled by a diving Thomas Ferguson. Advantage was given as Abdirahman Daud easily played the ball into the empty goal for his second of the match.

After the game Head Men's Soccer Coach, Bryan Wallace said, "I'm incredibly happy with our defensive play this weekend. Two consecutive shutouts against conference opponents is a nice achievement. It's a short celebration though as we have to focus our attention on NHTI Tuesday."
