Medford, MA - In their second game in less than 24-hours, the Mustangs hit the road to take on the Lynx of Lesley University (NCAA DIII). The first quarter saw back-and-forth action, with the Mustangs outscoring the Lynx 17-15. From there, the Mustangs found another gear and outscored the host by double-figures in the three remaining quarters.

First-year standouts, Ella Lavigne and Jolien Defoort scored 17 points each. Lavigne recorded her second straight double-double by pulling down a team-high 10 rebounds. Defoort grabbed 6 of her own. Molly Corbett hit for double figures for the first time in her collegiate career, hitting two triples and finishing with 12 points. Junior standout, Chantel Ouellette, finished with 10 points. 

Jordan Blair led the Lynx with 17 points, while Alexandra Kerley recorded a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

The Mustangs, who eclipsed the century mark for the second time in three games, out-rebounded the hosts by +20 and forced 39 turnovers. First-year, Riley Hebler, was outstanding for the Mustangs. She created havoc in the backcourt, drew another offensive foul, and scored 8 points to go along with her career-high 7 steals.

Head Women's Basketball Coach, Andrew Morong, commented, "Even though we won, we were a little discouraged by our performance on Friday night. Today was all about taking a step forward, focusing on the little things, and communicating as consistently as possible. We certainly moved in the right direction today, and it was nice to get contributions from everyone in the lineup."

With the win CM improved to 3-0 overall. They will be back in action on Monday when they travel to Portsmouth, NH to take on Great Bay Community College in their first YSCC game of the season.
