Hallowell, ME - In ACHA hockey action tonight at the Camden National Bank Ice Vault Mustang's Matthew Poulin and Matthew Henderson both netted three goals apiece in a 9-3 rout over the Thomas College Terriers.

The game was close during the initial stages with the Mustangs up 1-0 after the first period.  Pulling together, they answered the second period bell with four unanswered goals and delivered another four goals in the third to seal the win.

Central Maine also had goals from Dylan Farrell-Reny, Jordy Knoren, and Charles Campagna. Goaltender Kenny Miller was solid in net stopping 30 of 33 Terrier shots.

According to Head Coach Kevin Cady, "We had a long holiday break and got back together this week for three practices. I was impressed with our tenacity tonight and it was obvious the guys stayed in shape and came back ready to play. I think this was our best effort of the season by far."

The Mustang's, 9-3 on the season, return to action Sunday afternoon vs New England College in Henniker, NH.
