After the game Head Coach Bruce Robertson commented, " This was another good day for us at home. We hit the ball well in game one while knocking in plenty of runs. Game 2 we started a little slower than id like to see. We seem to struggle at times keeping the intensity up for back to back games. We need to find a way to fix that and be consistant. Not sure if it was the rain and cold weather but we got it going and ended strong today. Game 2 was nice to see the players have to dig deep and work hard for the win. Our pitchers pitched great Avery had another great day in the circle with 7 strike outs and her first no hitter in college. Makayla and Olivia pitched well also in game 2.
