After the game Head Coach Bruce Robertson commented, " This was a good way to end our road trip with 2 more wins for us against a D3 School. We started the day aggressive at the plate which set the tone for our day. We slipped a little to start game 2 but started to find our groove in the 4th inning. Our pitchers continue to pitch great. Today we went with Makayla for game 1 and she did very well. It was great to see her get her bat to come alive as well. Avery continues to do what she does in the circle. We did something different today having her close a game 1 rather than start game 2. She brings that presence our team feeds off of. Emily Wormwood had a big weekend with 3 Home Runs with 2 today. Olivia Gallan added some great hits and keeps tearing up the base baths with a bunch of steals this weekend which was just fun to watch."

Next up The Mustangs host CCRI on Sunday May 1 with 1pm and 3pm game times.
