Rutland, VT - Freshman guard, Tianna Harriman (Auburn, ME) connected on a season-high eight three-pointers to lead the Lady Mustangs to a 89-67 decision over the College of St. Joseph's (VT).  Harriman added 5 assists with her game-high 24 points.

Brooke Reynolds (Poland, ME) worked her way to a double-double, with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Jenny Schlim (Nottingham, NH) hit for 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists.  Eraleena Gethers-Hairston (Auburn, ME) ripped down a team-high 11 rebounds.

The Lady Mustangs assisted on 23 of their 30 made field goals, while out-rebounding the Fighting Saints 58-38.  CM shot 44% from the floor, including 42% (11-26) from the 3-point line and 75% (18-24) from the free throw line.  All 14 players who suited up for today's game saw action in both halves.

According to Coach Morong, "Although the game was a bit sloppy at times, this was a great team win.  Jenny, Rylee (Moore), Hayley (Peterson), and Allie (Ablondi) all sacraficed their bodies to take charges today, totaling a season-high of seven in just this game.  If we can extend our discipline in this area of defense, to other areas we will start holding teams to more acceptable point totals.  We are not where we need to be yet, but I believe we are progressing, mentally and physically, towards our best basketball."

Alayna Landolfo led CSJ with 24 points.

With the win CM improves to 18-1 overall and will be back in action tomorrow, in Randpolh, VT to take on the Knights of Vermont Tech.
