SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine (YSCC) -- The #1 ranked CMCC Mustangs look every bit deserving of the seeding with their win over #8 Hampshire Black Sheep.
Hampshire hung around most of the first quarter with a nice performance Katherine Dimitruk.
The Mustangs took control in the second when they went on a couple 12-0 runs led by Brooke Reynolds 17 first pts on 7-10 shooting. Mustangs grabbed a 61-20 lead at halftime.
More of the same from the Mustangs in the second, sparked by Holly Decourcey's 7 second half points. Reynolds finished the game with 19 points.
Dimiruk led the Black Sheep with 11 points.
The Mustangs will move on to face #4 seeded UMaine Augusta on Saturday at Noon.
