Auburn, ME - In a game that lasted just an hour and twenty minutes, the Mustangs once again got dominant pitching to hold off the Hawks of York County Community College for a 2-1 victory Friday night.

Grady Cummings was once again efficient and dominant going 6.1 innings giving up three hits and striking out five. Derek Roman came in for save.

RBI singles by Levi Tibbetts and Kaleb Thompson in the first inning was all the offense the Mustangs needed. Teddy McFarland and Brogan McCormick also added singles for the Mustangs.

"Pitching and defense." said Head Baseball Coach, Ryan Palmer. "When you get those two components, it puts you in a position to win every game."

The Mustangs are back in action Friday afternoon as they travel to Concord, New Hampshire to take on the Lynx of NHTI at 3:00pm.
