Mustangs recognized at USCAA All-American Banquet

UNIONTOWN, PA - The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) announced it's National All-Academic and All-American winners for Division II women's basketball during its National Championship Banquet at Seven Springs Resort on Saturday, March 7th. The USCAA National All-Academic award is given to student-athletes with at least 24 credits and a 3.5 GPA. While coaches and athletic administrators vote on the All-Americans.

Abby Ferland (Monmouth, ME), Kristen Huntress (Harrison, ME) and Elena Tool (Tilburg, Netherlands) were all recognized as USCAA Academic All-Americans. 

Huntress and Natalie Thurber (Wells, ME) were honored as Honorable Mention All-Americans, while first year standout, Eliza Brault (Ossipee, NH) was recongized as 2nd Team All-American.

The Mustangs kick-off USCAA National Tournament play on Monday at 2:00pm when they play 7th seed Johnson & Wales University Charlotte.
