Dierynck, David recognized by YSCC

South Portland, ME - Men's Basketball standouts, Nicolas Dierynck and Corey David, were honored by the Yankee Small College Conference earlier today at the annual awards banquet. Both men received YSCC 2nd Team All-Conference honors for their play this past season.

Dieynck played a key role for the Mustangs this year. He averaged 12 points and 5 rebounds per game while shooting 42% from the field.  At 6'4", Nic can elevate and shoot over his opponents and had a work ethic second to none. He was in the gym and fitness room daily working on his game.

David was the gas the fueled the engine. Along with his 7 points and 6 rebounds per game, he dished out 6 assists per game as well.  A steady point guard, Corey established himself as one of the premier point guards in the conference. Unfortunately, David's season was cut short due to a season-ending knee injury.
