Auburn, ME - A dismal shooting percentage and numerous turnovers doomed the Lady Mustangs almost from the start as they fell to Cegep Champlain - St. Lawrence, 46-41, in the final game of the 21st Annual Can-Am Tournament.
The Lady Mustangs shot 2-30 from the 3-point line, and just 41% from the FT line.
Samantha Maxfield (Hollis, ME) was the lone bright spot for CM. The freshman guard finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds off the bench.
St. Lawrence was led by Rebecca Laberge who finished with a game high 18 points.
With the loss, CM drops to 1-2 on the year.
