Auburn, ME - The Lady Mustangs watched their 10-point lead slip away late and could not gain any traction, as SMCC snuck away with a 58-53 win, in front of a sellout crowd. CM lost one starter to an injury in the games opening minutes, then lost another key reserve early in the 2nd half, before 3 Lady Mustangs fouled out.  The remaining available roster hung tough, and still had multiple chances to tie or take the lead late, before eventually falling.

Seve Deery-Deraps (Rangeley, ME) once again led the charge for CM, finishing with 16 points, including four 3's.  Alex Rowe (South Paris, ME) tallied 14 points in the losing effort.

With the loss, CM falls to 18-8 overall and 9-4 in the conference.  The Lady Mustangs will be back in action on Friday, when they travel to Concord, NH to take on NHTI in a non-conference matchup.
