Machias, ME – The Lady Mustangs tallied their 3rd win in as many games, defeating a chippy UMaine Machias team, 79-51. The full court pressure of CM, bothered the Clippers throughout the game, and led to six 10-second backcourt counts.
Seve Deery-Deraps once again led the Lady Mustangs with 20 points, including 6 threes. Alex Rowe tallied 15 points while dominating inside. Nicole Hamblin went 8-10 from the foul line, and finished with 10 points. Allie Ablondi played another great game, finishing with 11 points.
Alicen Brooks led the Clipper with 12 points.
With the win the Lady Mustangs improve their record to 15-7 overall and 7-3 in the Yankee Conference. We will be back in action next Saturday, when they travel to take UMaine Presque Isle to take on the Owls.
